KOH-I-NOOR

Established in 1830, by Friederich Grüneberg, Burstenfabrik Grüneberg was the precursor of Koh-I-Noor. This company was located in Bratislava, Slovakia and made some of the first toothbrushes that were distributed throughout the Europe. First made with the ox bone, then wood, then, subsequently, celluloid acetate. This eco-friendly, self polishing, scratch resistant, warm to the touch and strikingly beautiful material is still used to this day and is a signature style for Koh-I-Noor.

In 1964 Koh-I-Noor opened the factory in Tradate, Italy, where exceptional body care accessories are handcrafted using a mix of traditional techniques and advanced technical innovation. This combination of tradition, innovation and dedication to incredible quality makes Koh-I-Noor a shining example of true Italian craftsmanship and style.
